Ripzilla is alive!

My Nakamichi Mj-5 and 14 bay SCSI tower is now alive and kicking as a 40 CD ripping machine! After many weeks of waiting and watching on eBay and a small effort on the part of my machinist friend, I have all of the components necessary for a CD ripping beast. Check out Ripzilla for my scripts, pictures of the project, and much more info.  It is amazing how well the Nakamichi Mj-5 works in linux.

Nice stuff man. How does the cd changing work, is it all done by the hardware or are there commands that must be issued to the drives to make them change cd’s? Let’s make an IPTV show perhaps this summer. I got a home server running located at http://oustedyet.com:90/ . Had to use port 90 cuz my ISP blocks port 80 those dirty bums! Just messing with stuff on there for now, but I got ampache on it and it’s pretty sweet.
