Copy Handler is Awesome

Copy Handler is an awesome replacement for the default Windows file copy handler. It gives you total control over the copy process. The best part is that it allows you to pause your copy operations! I just got my new Samba server set up and then I had to copy 100GB’s of data from different directories to the new server. Originally I started all of the copies with the standard windows file copy handler, but it managed to crash after about 2 hours of copying. I then searched the web for a drop in replacement with shell integration and stumbled across Copy Handler. My copy is now done and I am impressed. Copy Handler survived 100GB’s and a reboot in the middle. After tonight, I am never going back to the standard Windows Copy Handler.

    I believe you told me about that Copy Handler EVEN LONGER ago, perhaps at that internet cafe. Anyhow, it is pretty much the best thing ever, especially for large network transfers that are so prone to failing. I use it to this day.
